Who I Am
With over a decade of experience serving clients and businesses as an advisor, my career spans with six years in accounting, equity trading in New York City, and now comprehensive financial advising. I am a fiduciary holding a life and health producer license, as well as the SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65. For the past 12 years, I have worked in tandem with my wife, Amy Brown, who is also a Senior Advisor and Partner with Summit Global Private Wealth.
Specialization
I specialize in working with pre-retirees and retirees in these 4 areas: retirement distribution planning, Roth Conversion tax strategies, maximizing Social Security income, and investment strategies to maximize retirement income.
Hobbies
I like to live a disciplined life, which includes a predictable morning routine of reading and working out. I played college basketball where I helped pioneer the men’s program and became the first guy in school history to score 1,000 points.
My Commitment
I approach financial planning as a long-term relationship, not a transaction. I treat my clients the way I would my own parents—taking time, answering questions thoroughly, and never rushing decisions. I value working with people who appreciate my experience and are committed to a thoughtful, collaborative planning process.
Favorite Books, Mottos, Quotes
I love reading, and my favorite book is the Bible. I’ve read it over a dozen times and in many translations. My wife and I love to travel, especially to Hawaii.
